Project

Design a small animation/video which will be made for a clients needs. This will need to be to professional standards so that the client is happy with the final results.

Plan

My plan is to research what the UN is and find out more about where my client works, so that I can gather as much information before I produce the product. I’ve learnt that they work at stone throw media which is a media company that produce videos and animations for clients. I will need to talk to my client over the weeks and keep them professionally updated so that they are aware of what I’m doing so that they know and can give ideas to help me create the work to their standards.

Once I have created the idea for the video I will show my client and gain feedback before moving to the next stage which is the story boarding and creating the characters for the video with the style/personalities that they want.

Then once they are happy with it all I will then move onto making the film for the client and making sure that it suits what they are looking for. I will also need to work on using the audio and making sure the timing and editing all fits into place with the work so that nothing looks out of place.

United nations

The united nations is a organisation. Its headquarters are based in New York and the companies job is to protect and provide peace to country’s. It was founded just after the world war 2 to help prevent wars, natural disasters or any other drastic events that may happen to people in need of help. This is the sort of visualization I need to produce in the short film to help explain what these agencies do to help.

Stone throw media company

Stone throw media is a video, film and animation company that help create videos for other companies or for clients that need a new video, where that being new start up business to help promote there company or a simple advertisement for the products that they are selling.

Idea

When an emergency like an earthquake, tsunami strikes a place where there is no reliable Internet connection, the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster steps in. They help to provide Internet to humanitarians, non-governmental organisations, United Nations agencies and more recently hospitals that have been set up to fight Ebola.

When an emergency like an earthquake,

I think a small animation of small tired people in a business building will feel the earth quake and then will run out of the building into a nearby church. They would have their arms waving in the air when they run out of the building and the floor will begin to rupture.

Next part there will be a small tsunami which will then head towards to the church which leads the small people to run to the docks to get onto a boat.

Logo of the company or maybe make them seen as some sort of godly figure which helps prevent the disaster. Hand comes down and fixes everything.

They help to provide Internet to humanitarians, non-governmental organisations,

Wifi symbol next to the small people and then they start using their phones and contacting each other.

United Nations agencies and more recently hospitals that have been set up to fight Ebola.

More god like hands with symbols on them for the hospital and the UN fighting off the dreaded Ebola viruses which is in the air going towards the small people.

Animation style ideas for pro project

Adverts:

Here is a live action styled animation avert that I found for a gas company. I like this style of work on how they have created characters for what the company is about and what it specialises in. I feel that it is a very clear message that the advert brings out just because of the characters that they have created Gaz and Leccy. I think the trend from this advert is that we see characters like this being created to show off the company to its target audience. Giving a friendly funny humorist look because it is meant to be for family sort of audience because it is directed for home service.

 

This next advert that I have found has a 2d use of animation. I think the style of work in this piece helps bring the work out and keep it unique. I love the idea of using watercolour for an animation it makes the advert look interesting and different from other adverts. I think the trend for this advert is the long irrigated looking figures of the characters which we can see in other animations being used. I think this is because people like to see slim sort of people and that we has humans see this as being the correct sort of size in reality.
